Mao and Co is a highly sought after food truck to cater for weddings, parties and corporate events around Wellington and Greater Wellington from Wairarapa to Palmerston North.
Our mouth-watering dumplings and noodles are handmade, colourful and beautifully presented. This makes Mao and Co a cost-effective catering option that will elevate your private event.
We have lots of experience in hospitality and understand the need to be good communicators, to deliver outstanding and professional service, while adding high impact value at your special event.
We cater to groups of 30 to 200+ and have catered over 200 private events including weddings, birthdays; and corporate events for government, private sector and the arts industry.

The fine print
Service
Guests can collect from the food truck counter or help themselves to a buffet table spread.
If you prefer pass around or table service, Mao’s waiter service is available POA. You can also provide your own food runners.
N.B. we serve our cuisine in 100% compostable packaging (bowls, cutlery and serviettes) to ensure a zero waste event.
Booking T&C’s
• A minimum $1000 food spend is required for May - November bookings and a minimum $2000 food spend is required for bookings December - April
• Plus, a $200 booking fee to cover travel and to secure your exclusive date with us.
Booking fee is non-refundable, should you decide to cancel with less than 4 weeks notice.
• An additional $50 is applicable for Wairarapa and Horowhenua locations.
• An additional $100 is applicable if setting up in your home/office kitchen.
Dietary requirements
Vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and nut free preferences or allergies can be catered for on the spot without notice.
Any coeliac and gluten free preferences or allergies will need to be pre-ordered 2 weeks prior to your event.
